Our students were so excited to meet Nadia and view her to be an Italian celebrity. Nadia's incursion is super interactive and students loved sharing their knowledge and dancing along with Nadia live. Thank you Nadia for providing students of Italian with such a wonderful resource that allows them to be engaged and excited for Italian class.

We have loved having Nadia at our school to perform and sing her wonderful songs. The students were so excited to meet Nadia as they learnt many of her songs through her YouTube videos and resource kits. She thoroughly engaged the students and they immensely enjoyed the music, singing, dancing and stories. They had so much fun and absolutely love her songs. Thank you Nadia for making learning Italian so much fun!

I teach Italian to children across our tiny rural school (70 students) in Western Australia and have been using your singing resources for 5 years now. Have always loved your songs etc.. but this year I discovered your YouTube dance routines and it has taken my preps and year ones to the next level!! They love singing and dancing along with you that's for sure, And they are recalling words and ideas much better than previous students!
So, Grazie molto!!

I am a Primary Italian teacher and discovered Cavallo Capers earlier this year. I loved the idea of the English/Italian songs to teach fundamental topics in Italian (especially when they are as catchy as Nadia's!), but also loved the idea of an incursion where all the songs they had been learning would be performed all together in a fun singalong, whilst learning a bit about Italy too. The incursion with Nadia was super fun both students (Prep, Year 1 and 2), and teachers, and we all had a wonderful time. Nadia was so entertaining - the students just loved having her there and even after the incursion they have been asking me if we can sing all the new songs that Nadia taught us that we hadn't already learned in class.
We would love to have Nadia back next year, and we will continue learning her other songs as well - highly recommend!

Ciao Nadia, the feedback I got from the staff following our incursion was excellent. The children were engaged and had fun. They loved seeing you in person and enjoyed singing and dancing. Having resources with you was also fantastic because the children recognised them as they see them in my classroom. They mentioned the resources. I was concerned as to how the senior students would embrace the show, however, they loved it and again were engaged in the performance. Thanks Nadia and Raul, the show was a huge hit for Italian day.

It is with great joy that I recommend the resources made available to teachers of Italian by CAVALLO CAPERS. It has been a long time since teachers of Italian were offered the opportunity to stack up on new teaching materials, devised by a committed practising teacher who is fully aware of their needs and preferences and who has been able to pitch her new productions to the appropriate level of learner competence. The Italian teachers who have been availing themselves of AN ITALIAN ADVENTURE know that these new resources are interesting and valuable, as they offer use-ready material that links up with many aspects of their current Italian curriculum.
They can expect even better material with the newly released Volume 1 of the CD BUONGIORNO SIGNORA, containing 13 original songs, a song book, lyric charts and an activity book. “Just what we are always looking for!” – commented a teacher on hearing about its recent release. I am sure that this comment will be heard in many quarters as Italian teachers acquire this new pack.

Cavallo Capers’ Resources are fantastic, our clients want to borrow them frequently and I find that is never in the library at all. I’m still waiting for it to be returned from the country and someone else is waiting!!!

Thanks again for performing for us on our Italian day. Many students have commented that it was their favourite part of the day.
Your songs are very catchy, so the students at every level were able to easily learn the words while enjoying themselves. With the different styles of music and simple dance moves students enthusiastically participated and have also improved their knowledge and recall of the Italian language.

Just wanted to share with you - Paige, who is doing her Early Childhood Education course was on placement today and got 'thrust' into running the 'Language Lesson' in the Kinder room which was Italian. Well she owned it teaching the kids two songs she still remembers you teaching them - the kids loved it and the kinder room educators were most impressed, she talked up her Primary school Italian teacher Signora Cavallo who she remembers taught through song and dance - so if she still remembers it now it must work.
She is running it for next week too! Thought you would love that!

Hi Nadia, just thought I would send you some feedback on your latest Vol 2 CD. Kids are loving it! We sing several songs each lesson and I play the CD while they are working as well. However there are some complaints from some kids that songs stay in their heads and they cant stop thinking about it. Ha Ha! Your tunes are really catchy. One kid told me his mother said he was sleep talking and singing Bene Grazie e Lei during the night. Personally, I love the majority of your songs. Thank you for making the CD. I'm getting lots of compliments from the parents that their kids are loving Italian and singing lots of songs, thanks to you. Ciao

I had the pleasure of watching Nadia Cavallo perform at St Pat’s yesterday. Such an engaging and entertaining show! Even the grade 6 kids were up and dancing.
I was worried my kids wouldn’t know enough of her songs but they are so catchy that all kids picked up the words and actions in a flash. Congratulations Nadia on making learning Italian so much fun for kids.

Nadia Cavallo spent one day a week during term 3 introducing our kindergarten children to the Italian language, culture and country through her fantastic Buongiorno Kit. The children and staff loved them both and we shared our journey with the families by having a concert at the end of the term.
Nadia had a lovely nature with the children and was very patient and warm encouraging the children to join in with her.
Nadia’s Italian lessons have been a fantastic addition to the program and have complimented the Early Years Learning Framework. We look forward to having back again next year. Grazie

On Friday June 17, we were extremely fortunate to have the wonderfully talented Nadia Cavallo come to our school, Nazareth Primary, to sing and perform her popular Italian songs for Italian Day. The children thoroughly enjoyed the sessions, singing and learning new actions to her original songs. They were thrilled to meet her as they had been learning the songs for quite some time.
I highly recommend Nadia to all schools. The children will love her just as much as love her songs!

I have been using your fantastic resources for some time now, in particular Buongiorno Signora Music CD and song booklet. The students always enjoy singing to your inspirational songs which are both entertaining and fun. The songs compliment the themes or topics well, providing language the students can easily sing along to and which stimulates their imagination as well as extending their knowledge of the Italian language. They particularly love the animali song and take pleasure in imitating the animal sounds.
I look forward to any new resources you are working on.

When I first started learning and then teaching Italian, one of my teaching strategies which I implemented was teaching and learning through music/songs. I enjoy singing and the students find it much easier to remember and learn the words. Then an Italian teaching colleague introduced me to Nadia’s wonderful resources. The children at our school thoroughly enjoy your songs, music, stories, and videos. It makes their learning so much more real as they share the learning experiences with you on video. Including a familiar story character, Pinocchio, proved to be very successful. All the children were keen to “travel” with Pinocchio on his Italian adventure. The students often ask when we can go on another exciting Italian adventure. Learning a language is more than just speaking the language. It’s all about understanding people, their history and their culture. Nadia’s An Italian Adventure provides the students with engaging learning experiences as they accompany Pinocchio on his travel adventures. When everyone sings the song: Andiamo in Italia, with its catchy tune, it sets the scene for joining Pinocchio on his travels. We all love singing the songs. At the beginning of every Italian lesson, every class sings and enjoys the Prayer, Caro Gesù. All the children particularly enjoy the second part of this song, when they move and groove to the music while singing. Their engagement in singing and dancing to the song always brings a smile to their faces.
Looking forward to going through the Italian Christmas Adventure pack. I’m sure we shall all enjoy the activities and learning.

From the very first lesson, the children were attracted to Nadia’s calm and friendly nature and looked forward to her visits also bringing along her friend Pinocchio. Nadia’s love of teaching language through music and dance, in a fun and non confronting way supported the children in developing their own interests and passion in learning Italian through song and dance.
As a Kindergarten Teacher, I highly recommend Cavallo Capers in teaching Children Italian language through music and dance as it promotes the overall developmental wellbeing of children….and it’s a great fun way to learn.
