Nadia Cavallo is a Primary School Teacher who has taught Italian for approximately 38 years. As a singer and musician, she has always utilised these skills in her classes. An Italian Adventure, her first Teachers’ Resource, has been a big hit with teachers Australia-wide. It was always her dream to create and share what she has done through song and dance in her classrooms. Little did she know she would begin the journey as author during a trip to Italy with her friend and constant classroom companion, Pinocchio where An Italian Adventure truly did begin. Since then An Italian Christmas Adventure and An Italian Carnevale Adventure, along with Buongiorno Signora Volumes 1 and 2, which have helped bring aspects of Italy into classrooms around Australia. In 2024 Nadia has added to the list of resources, with Buongiorno Signora Volume 3.

Nadia and Pinocchio enjoy meeting teachers and students during kindergarten and school incursions. They have now been to schools around the state, where for approximately 50 minutes students and teachers have a hoot of a time. It is an interactive all inclusive experience. Pinocchio and Nadia share songs, dances,  information about Italy, question time and so much more. If you know the songs, expect to participate to the max with Nadia, dancing the 50 minutes away. If you don't know the songs, then it's a great introduction to becoming familiar with them. It's guaranteed you will be dancing and singing them way after their visit. 

Nadia's intention is to continue to share her resources with teachers and students providing first class, Australian based, fun and informative resources and guides to teaching Italian.
